A national day of action to raise awareness on problem gambling in New Zealand has been proposed by delegates at the CommUnity Action on Gambling Conference, held in Hamilton August 30 to 1st September, 2004. more
Social movement approach needed to raise problem gambling awareness in New Zealand [1.9.04] Delegates at the National CommUnity Action on Gambling Conference held in Hamilton recently have had two days of presentations and workshops on problem gambling - and how they can initiate and influence change in their communities.
Communities need to come together to enforce gambling regulations [1.9.04] Communities working together to enforce the regulations on gambling was a key outcome from the CommUnity Action on Gambling Conference held in Hamilton, 30th August to 1st September 2004.
