With spring just around the corner, parents are being encouraged to remain vigilant for childhood infections and
ailments which continue into the warmer months.

cause a baby's or infant's temperature to rise and are not just prevalent in winter. It is common for young children to
have many mild infections which cause fevers, often five to 10 viral infections each year.*
