Edmonds Fielder's Cornflour 300g Voluntary Food Recall
AUCKLAND, July 27 /MediaNet International-AsiaNet/ --
Edmonds is voluntarily recalling two batches of Edmonds Fielder's Cornflour 300g as a precautionary measure. This follows advice from a supplier that the cornflour supplied to us and used in these products may contain lead above maximum food standard limits.
Edmonds' overriding concern is always the safety of our consumers and the quality of our products. Therefore the following product is being immediately recalled in New Zealand and should not be consumed.
EDMONDS FIELDER'S CORNFLOUR 300G WITH BEST BEFORE DATES:
30.09.05 01.10.05 Only products with these specific best before dates, located on the top of the pack, are included in this recall.
We ask anyone with family and friends who may have purchased this product to contact them in case they may not be aware of this recall.
We apologise to our consumers for any inconvenience.
Consumers are asked to return any of the recalled product or unused portions of the product to the store of purchase for a full refund or call our Consumer Advisory Centre 0800 252 423 or email cac@goodmanfielder.co.nz for further information or advice.
