“Here We Come; Northland Senior Doctors Could Flock To Fiji”
Northland senior doctors could flock to Fiji under the Northland District Health Board’s new policy of using trips to Fiji as an incentive for its employees not taking sick leave,” said Mr Ian Powell, Executive Director of the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists, today.
“Senior doctors are among the lowest users of sick leave in the health system. Consequently most, if not all, of the senior doctors employed by the Northland District Health Board should be eligible.”
“Next year can we go to the Mediterranean please?”
”Fiji here we come,” concluded Mr Powell.
