Pumpkin Patch To Distribute Littlies Magazine
Littlies and Pumpkin Patch have joined together to make New Zealand's largest monthly* parenting magazine available to
even more parents. Every Pumpkin Patch store, 22 throughout New Zealand, will now supply copies of Littlies to parents.
The partnership allows for parents to more readily obtain a copy of the magazine. This means pregnant, first time
mothers have access to Littlies well before entering hospital to give birth. Copies can also be given to parents with
pre-schoolers not already associated with an Early Childhood Centre.
A common commitment to supporting parents and caregivers has been the key to the new relationship between Pumpkin Patch
and Littlies.
"Pumpkin Patch is recognised as a company in touch with the demands and expectations of parenting and the community,"
says Kate Tattersfield, Marketing Manager, Pumpkin Patch, "Littlies adds to that reputation with its highly credible
information and premium presentation. I'm delighted to have Littlies in our stores, as are our Store Managers."
Pumpkin Patch is already a big community supporter through its involvement with children-related charities such as
Books in Homes, Kidz First Hospital, Gifted Kids, Women's Refuge, Parenting with Confidence and Koru Care. They are also
involved at the 'local' level with many schools and kindergartens and support Starship Hospital's oncology ward with
gifts of clothing for children who have to spend their birthday in hospital.
Littlies is also committed to supporting parents and caregivers by providing hands-on practical advice and information.
This is achieved through quality editorial, matched with restricted advertising content. Strict guidelines also maintain
a targeted and robustly monitored distribution network.
Littlies has gone from strength to strength since it launched in June last year. Founder, Lesley Williamson, sees the
partnership with Pumpkin Patch as a reinforcement of Littlies' quality positioning. "My goal from day one has been to
provide quality, hands on practical information to parents and caregivers with children under five, to make their role
more successful and enjoyable. Pumpkin Patch understands this goal and will complement the current readership and
distribution of Littlies brilliantly."
