Lower North Island Nurses To Vote On Revised Offer
The New Zealand Nurses Organisation will take a revised employer offer back to members covered by the Lower North Island Multi Employer Agreement (MECA).
NZNO advocate Lyn Olsthoorn said today that NZNO and the DHB employers had resumed negotiations on Monday.
“Progress was made on the key issues identified by NZNO members who rejected an employer offer last month,” she said.
The Lower North Island MECA covers 4,000 nurses, midwives and health assistants in seven DHBs.
The DHBs are Taranaki Health, Hutt Valley DHB, Whanganui DHB, Wairarapa DHB, MidCentral DHB, Hawkes Bay and Capital and Coast DHB.
