Dr Nitschke joins euthanasia debate at Victoria University
Dr Philip Nitschke will join a Victoria University Debating Society event on Monday 8 March at 12pm to affirm the argument, "That We Should Legalise Voluntary Euthanasia".
Joining the affirmative team will be Lesley Martin (currently facing trial for ending her terminally ill mother's life) and Dr Judith Aitken (former CEO of the Education Review office).
They will meet the Victoria University Debating Society team of Kevin Moar and Nikki Willis, who have both recently completed BA Honours at Victoria, and Ranald Clouston who is competing his Master of Science at Victoria.
The debate will be held in the Union Hall, Student Union Building, Kelburn Campus, Victoria University. It will run from 12-1pm and will be followed by a one-hour audience question time. Entrance is free.
