Canterbury Nurses and Midwives Negotiations Adjourned
Negotiations for nurses and midwives employed by the Canterbury DHB have adjourned after a further day of talks.
Chris Wilson, New Zealand Nurses Organisation advocate for the Canterbury agreement, said the parties had agreed that NZNO would now hold a full round of meetings with members.
She said the purpose of the NZNO members' meetings was to ascertain members' response to progress in the negotiations and to the employer's proposal.
The negotiations will resume on the 18th August.
