Senior Achievers Required - Five weeks to go!
Age Concern New Zealand and MASS Healthcare have again combined to bring to New Zealand communities the 2003 Senior Achievers Awards. The awards, a celebration of older volunteering in New Zealand were launched recently in Wellington.
"This is the second year of the Age Concern Senior Achievers awards"" says Garth Taylor, Age Concern Chief Executive, "and we are pleased that MASS Healthcare have again committed themselves to this event allowing the older volunteers of our country to be recognised and rewarded"
Stephen Murray, General Manager of MASS Healthcare Ltd., states, "MASS Healthcare is extremely proud to be supporting the Age Concern Senior Achiever's Awards. We at MASS Healthcare are committed to honouring age and it is a pleasure to be involved in this event which honours and recognises the significant contribution made by senior members of our community".
The Awards are open to any New Zealand citizen, over 60, who has made an outstanding contribution to their community. Held since 1995 by a dedicated Trust, the awards were reintroduced by Age Concern in 2002.
