Updated travel advice regarding SARS
Please note the Ministry of Health's travel advice regarding SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) has been updated today to reflect the latest international information.
Note that Hong Kong and mainland China have both been removed from the Ministry's travel advice. Both countries were at level three, which is the lowest level of risk.
Beijing in China has also been removed from the travel advice. It was previously at level two.
Toronto in Canada, and Taiwan, remain on the travel advice at level two. People planning non-essential travel to level two areas should consider postponing their travel until further notice.
There are no countries listed at level one, the highest level of risk.
