New Zealand Owned Health Retailer Reassures Customers Over Pan Scare.
A leading health retailer is reassuring customers about the safety of New Zealand health products in the wake of the Pan Pharmaceuticals recall.
The New Zealand Food Safety Authority have today issued a list of products for recall. This is separate to the 219 products recalled in Australia.
Hardy's Healthy Living stores want concerned customers to call their 0800 number to clarify the status of any products they are not sure of. The number is 0800 83 33 33. The Hardy’s Healthy Living Website will also have updated information from 6pm tonight. (www.healthyliving.co.nz)
“We want to ensure our customers feel they can rely on our service, advice and products.” says Murray Hardy, Managing Director of Hardy's Healthy Living.
As a precaution, staff at the 25 stores throughout the country are today removing any stock manufactured by Pan Pharmaceuticals from their shelves until their status is made clear.
Murray and Margaret Hardy, directors of the nationwide chain have seventeen years experience in the health retail market. They say their stores operate at the top end of the market and believe at this stage only a small number of products in their stores will be compromised by the Pan situation.
“Our instant response to the Pan recall proves that strong quality control standards do exist within the New Zealand natural health industry,” said a concerned Margaret Hardy.
"There has been general confusion (due to lack of information) about how this will affect our market, when the dust settles I think there will be minimal impact for New Zealand consumers." Says Murray Hardy.
