Single sharing accommodation: the current threshold is $18,586, proposed new threshold is $18,924 Single - living alone: current threshold is $19,689, proposed new threshold is $20, 047 Couple - no dependents: current threshold is $29, 398, proposed new threshold is $29,933 2 person family - 1 adult, 1 child: current threshold is $29,398, proposed new threshold is $29,933 3 person family: current threshold is $34,243, proposed new threshold is $34,866 4 person family: current threshold is $39,089, proposed new threshold is $39,800 5 person family current threshold is $43,935, proposed new threshold is $44,735 6 person family: current threshold is $48,782, proposed new threshold is $49,670 For larger families: current threshold is $48,782 plus $4,840 per each additional child thereafter, the proposed new threshold is $49,670 plus $4,840 per each additional child thereafter.
