Adverse Events in New Zealand Public Hospitals

The Ministry of Health is presenting the results of the occasional paper Adverse Events in New Zealand Public Hospitals: Principal Findings from a National Survey.
The results will be released at a National Health Committee workshop The New Zealand Quality of Healthcare Study: Moving from Research to Action.
Key participants at the workshop include survey researchers and authors Professor Peter Davis, Dr Robin Briant and Professor Stephan Schug. National Health Committee Chair Dr Robert Logan will also be there.
A panel discussion will follow the presentation of the survey's results. The panel will be made up with Canterbury District Health Board Medical Advisor Dr Peter Gow, Buddle Findlay senior solicitor Johnathan Coates, Women's Health Action Trust Chair Alison Sutton and Hawkes Bay District Health Board Maori Health Manager Wi Keelan.
