If you bought a Lotto ticket at Rangiora New World about this time last year, please find it and get it checked at a Lotto shop before 23 October because the Lotteries Commission would like to pay you $428,572.
Local customers have already searched unsuccessfully for the missing First Division prize, said Rangiora New World's Lotto manager, Margaret Huckstep, who thinks the winner may well have been a visitor to the area.
There were three special events in and around Rangiora last Labour Weekend - the Woodend School Reunion, an A Show, and a RSA Reunion.
Anyone who attended those events, or visited Rangiora for any other reason, should turn out their jacket pockets and check all old Lotto tickets they find.
Lotteries Commission spokeswoman Lesley Meadows said that if the prizewinner could be not found, the money would be added to the prize pool for another big draw in the near future.
