Earthquake Near Helensville

A sharp earthquake centred near Helensville was felt in parts of Auckland this morning, the Institute of Geological & Nuclear Sciences said.
The magnitude 3.9 quake occurred at 7.54am and was centred 10km east of Helensville with a focal depth of 12km
The earthquake is not believed to have caused any damage.
