TVNZ announced today that it has signed an agreement with Snap, the Internet portal service from NBC Internet, Inc.
(Nasdaq: NBCI), which enables TVNZ to receive a customized, co-branded version of the Snap search and aggregation
service.
Snap's comprehensive Internet directory and search capabilities, global content guides and a host of other popular Web
site features have also been added to the TVNZ Web sites.
"Historically, TVNZ has been at the forefront of Web site development. By working with such a strong partner as Snap, we
are strengthening our commitment to delivering the best possible online experience," says TVNZ Chief Executive, Rick
Ellis.
General Manager of TVNZ Strategy and Marketing, Simon Aimer says that the partnership with Snap had already added many
new features to the current comprehensive TVNZ offering, "But, this is only the beginning, you will notice many
additions and enhancements to our Web site over the months to come."
"Our aim is to encourage New Zealanders to go online by making our Web offerings better and easier to use. Everyone is
busy these days and by developing our web site offering, we can bring together all the features people are looking for
on the Web * the latest news, sport, weather and entertainment information - all in one easy to use site."

Snap is the flagship portal service of NBC Internet, Inc., providing a comprehensive online experience to users
worldwide via Internet search and directory, community, shopping, e-commerce, multimedia and entertainment services
across all bandwidths. In March 1999, Snap was the first Web site to launch a broadband portal service for higher speed
