AMP SCHOLARSHIP ENTRIES CLOSE SOON
Time is running out for people to apply for a 1999 AMP Scholarship with entries closing on 31 July.
AMP General Manager John Drabble said the company has received an incredibly diverse range of applications from New Zealanders of all ages, professions and backgrounds.
"We've been really impressed with the calibre of the people who have applied for a scholarship so far. It's inspiring to discover how many talented New Zealanders there are in communities throughout the country."
Mr Drabble said the scholarships are open to people of any age and background who can demonstrate that they have the ability and attitude to succeed in their chosen field.
"AMP is looking for people with a vision and a demonstrated `can do' approach to achieving their goal. We're also looking for people who will do whatever it takes to realise their dream."
Mr Drabble said the scholarships aim to assist talented New Zealanders to achieve their goals.
"Applicants need to tell us what their dream is, how they're planning to achieve it and how AMP's support could help them to reach their goal."
AMP is offering a number of one year scholarships worth up to $3000 and up to three premium scholarships worth up to $20,000.
