MEDIA RELEASE For Immediate Release
Te Puna Kindergarten fully reopened on 27 September and is operating normal business hours.
The Kindergarten was closed for a short period while investigations were carried out into why the building tested positive for low levels of methamphetamine.
Two independent drug testing organisations conducted thorough and extensive testing which detected no methamphetamine on any surfaces in the Kindergarten.
While we are extremely pleased the report has come back with negative findings we are still saddened that this unfortunate incident has caused concern to both the parents and to our wonderful team.
