Pledges Roll in for LingoMagic Kickstarter Campaign
A Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign launched by three Nelson women, Meryl-lynn Pluck, Carolyn Sygrove and Lisa Caron, is gaining strong momentum, with over ten thousand dollars in pledges received to date.
The aim of the campaign is to help fund the production of a revolutionary educational tool, LingoMagic, which helps young children to learn the French language.
With just under seven days remaining to reach their funding goal (of twenty-eight thousand dollars), the women are encouraging the public to get behind their idea by pledging support.
“We’re excited about giving parents of young children the opportunity to teach them another language with LingoMagic, but first we need to reach our funding goal,” says joint creator Meryl-lynn Pluck.“People can make pledges of any size starting from just one dollar, with a host of different product packages to choose from (all with rewards), however you don’t pay anything unless we reach our funding goal, so it’s a win-win outcome.”
