Crown Institute produces top performer in International IATA Exam!
We would like say a huge “CONGRATULATIONS” to Crown Institute of Studies student, Yukino Ito. Yukino has been ranked above all other students in New Zealand who sat the IATA exam in September! That really is outstanding.
As New Zealand’s top performer, Yukino now has a personal letter of reference from the IATA Training and Development Institute (ITDI), which will look great on her future job applications.
Yukino’s tutor, Laraine Holdom is very proud of her student’s achievement. Laraine’s commitment to teaching has resulted in a 100% pass rate for Crown’s IATA candidates, with many receiving the highest possible grade, ‘Distinction’. Laraine says, "I wish we knew how Yukino’s result in the exam compared across the world; I bet it was up there!" Laraine’s other students are very grateful for the effort Laraine puts in to her classes and she often has ‘thank you’ emails from her graduating students.
Receiving a ‘Distinction’ is a great accomplishment in itself, but we are especially proud of Yukino’s success. It’s always fantastic to see our students excel in their studies. Yukino now has the internationally recognised IATA/UFTAA Foundation Diploma and we are certain that she has a bright future in the travel industry.
"We are delighted that Yukino's hard work has paid off and she has achieved this amazing result! It is well deserved,” says Leanne Annabell, Head of Crown’s School for Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. “We knew that most of our students had received ‘Distinction’ results, but until the diplomas arrived, we had no idea that Yukino had achieved the best IATA result in the whole of New Zealand for the September exam. I'm sure that IATA’s ‘Best Performer Recognition’ letter will help her with her future endeavours. This is also a credit to the dedication and commitment of the teaching team," says Leanne.
There are twelve intake dates for the CI 122 Crown Certificate in International Travel and Tourism for 2013, so we urge anyone who wants to achieve similar success to enrol now!
