Design And Arts College Appoints New General Manager
The Design and Arts College of New Zealand (D) announced Annabel Gudsell as General Manager today taking over the responsibilities of the day to day operations from the outgoing Managing Director, Susan McAllister. Gudsell been with the College since the start of 2005 as Marketing Manager and brings eight years experience from the marketing, media and corporate industries combined with a passion for educating the next generation of designers and artists. Gudsell is looking forward to working with the staff and continuing the success of D in the creative industries.
Outgoing Managing Director, Susan McAllister, will still retain the ownership of the College. McAllister has been involved within education for twenty-three years, the last ten years as Managing Director of D
The team at D have built the College up to around 350 students with a focus on meeting the creative sector and industry need. McAllister is confident in the appointment of Gudsell as General Manager; ‘I am looking forward to a smooth transition and working with Annabel on company strategy as my continued role as owner. I am confident that under Annabel’s leadership, the College will continue to thrive and grow, providing a quality service to our clients and stakeholders.’
D has been celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008 and provides tertiary education within the following courses Fine Arts, Contemporary Photography, Graphic Design, Architectural Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Makeup Design and Production. To find out more please visit www.dac.ac.nz.
