The Photography Masters Cup is a global online awards show recognising excellence in colour photography. With over 15,000 entries from 69 countries, images were first nominated within a category, and later selected for awards. The jury was made up of influential art directors, agencies, editors, galleries and publishers from the worlds of photography, advertising and entertainment.

Photography fans from 89 countries logged on to watch the awards show which was webcast live.

Kaye’s success in the Photography Masters Cup closely follows the three silvers and five bronzes won at the recent Epson New Zealand Professional Photography Awards.

As well as teaching in UCOL’s Applied Visual Imaging degree, Kaye is also currently studying towards a Master of Computer Graphic Design at UCOL’s Wanganui School of Design, analysing the use of scientific and medical technology in the production of photographic art. Focusing on flowers, this technology enables the previously unseen to be experienced and enjoyed by a wider audience.
