Cognition Consulting Appoints Research Consultant Dr David Stuart
NEW ZEALAND, Thursday, 5 October 2006: Cognition Consulting, a new local entity focused largely on international
educational projects has recently appointed a new research consultant, Dr David Stuart, to meet growing business demand
in educational research and evaluation.
Dr Stuart joins the Cognition team from the Ministry of Education, where he has worked in both schooling improvement and
research divisions. His most recent role has been as a Senior Research Analyst in the Research and Evaluation Team at
the Ministry. Dr Stuart's thesis investigated school business relationships in New Zealand schools.

considerable experience in designing and managing complex national research and evaluation programmes for the Ministry
of Education.
"This appointment will add further depth to the already strong calibre of researchers at Cognition Consulting, enabling
us to provide even more insight on how to reform education and schooling systems both here and internationally," he
