Applied Business Conference Attracts Educators
Nearly 200 tertiary educators will gather in Wellington tomorrow for the annual New Zealand Applied Business Education Conference at Te Papa.
Over three days, 50 papers will be presented on topics ranging from small business and effective learner strategies to the impact of international students. The majority of presenters and participants are involved in the New Zealand Diploma in Business, the largest business programme nationally.
Keynote speakers are Clemenger BBDO managing director Peter Biggs, New Zealand Post chief executive John Allen and career management expert Cassandra Gaisford.
The conference is organised by The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand in association with WelTec, Whitireia Community Polytechnic and Massey University, Wellington.
