Tertiary Teaching and Learning Quality Project
Sandra McKersey, President of the New Zealand Association of Private education Providers, said, ''NZAPEP, as the largest private tertiary education provider group, welcomes yesterday’s announcement by the Associate Minister of Education (Tertiary Education), Hon Steve Maharey, on the ''Tertiary Teaching and Learning Quality Project'.''
“NZAPEP supports in principle any initiative that will improve the quality of tertiary education, and create an environment where quality is assured for students, and recognised by the wider community,” she continued.
“Our members have worked hard to achieve quality in their establishments, and a project as proposed, will assist all providers, irrespective of ownership, to achieve recognition for what has been achieved, and ensure continued improvement, with the winners being students, employers, and the tertiary sector.”
“NZAPEP looks forward to the implementation, and will provide expertise to the sector working group.”
