New Education Website Gains Rapid Momentum
A recently-launched website aimed at linking all New Zealand educational institutions and their users is receiving a staggering 105,000 hits a month.
Since a press release detailing edusearch.co.nz was sent to your media organisation several weeks ago, the number of hits on the site has dramatically increased to about 3500 hits daily.
In March, the month the site was released, edusearch.co.nz received 8000 hits but in June the hit rate rocketed to 63,000 and last month the figure was over 105,000 hits.
Visitor numbers to the site are expected to take a further massive hike in the next few months now that Edusearch has linked to and from the highly-respected International Students Association websites. ISA has a policy of linking only one website per country to their sites and edusearch.co.nz was selected to be the link site to New Zealand.
Glenys Stanton says: "The recent media exposure given to our site throughout the country and our newly-formed liaison with the International Students Association will mean even more traffic in the near future to edusearch.co.nz. We are delighted that our efforts are uniting the country's education users and providers, and attracting international recognition."
A copy of the initial edusearch.co.nz press release is available at www.edusearch.co.nz or by calling Ruth Amrein on 021 139 1247 or Glenys Stanton on 025 285 2136.
