Critic Website Launched

Published: Wed 10 Jul 2002 03:02 PM
Critic, the student organ of Otago University, joined the online media community this week with the launch of its website, www.critic.co.nz.
The site - which features some of the same content as the free weekly newspaper and some all-new items - was developed by Critical Publications Ltd. and iVision Ltd. staff over June and July.
"We hope to build on the popularity Critic has enjoyed this year to develop an online readership," said Publications Editor Patrick Crewdson.
Content onwww.critic.co.nz will include feature articles, campus news, opinion polls, columns, reviews, and an extension of the irreverent 40 Ways list, 10 More Ways.
"We have had a lot of enquiries about Critic from other cities and from overseas this year, so we're very pleased to be able to accommodate distance readers," Crewdson said.
www.critic.co.nz will be updated weekly for the rest of the academic year.
