Howick South Secondary School Appoints New Head

The Board of Trustees of Howick South Secondary School has appointed Mr Robin McMurray foundation Principal.
The School due to open in 2004 is the first new secondary school to open in the area for over twenty years and will have an initial roll of up to 300 Year 9 students.
Currently Principal of Waimea College, Mr McMurray willl take up his appointment on 15 July 2002, but will have input into the design and name of the school immediately.
