Tactix sign Nathan as permanent replacement

Published: Mon 18 Mar 2019 04:18 PM
The Good Oil Tactix are pleased to announce the signing of midcourter Samon Nathan as a permanent replacement for the injured Erikana Pedersen.
The 26-year-old has plenty of experience at elite level, having played one season for the Central Pulse and the last two with the Northern Mystics.
Nathan has a natural eye for the gap and is able to effectively combine attack with defence, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the court.
She joins the Tactix for the remainder of the 2019 ANZ Premiership season following Pedersen’s season-ending ACL injury in Round 1.
The Good Oil Tactix head coach Marianne Delaney-Hoshek said the addition of Nathan was especially pleasing given her experience in the league.
“Samon has provided an anchor to our forward line, has hit the ground running and the combinations will only grow with the more time that we have together,” she said.
The Tactix are back in action with a home game against the Northern Mystics at Trafalgar Centre in Nelson on Sunday 24 March, with tickets available now from www.ticketek.co.nz
