New news aggregation service for New Zealanders launches today.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Today marks the launch of a new news aggregation service for New Zealanders.
Reported.co.nz curates news headlines from New Zealand and around the world to deliver the important news Kiwis need to know.
“Much of today's news websites are filled with clickbait headlines and stories designed to generate advertising revenue, or brand awareness that often take prominence over actual news” said site curator Regan Cunliffe. “It can be hard to find the stories that actually matter to Kiwis amongst the stream of sensationalised headlines these days so the idea was to create something that filtered out the noise.”
The initial phase of the rollout will involve manual curation of headlines which will provide a foundation for the AI tools that are currently in development.
It’s aggregation and curation… Enjoy!
