What is the FoFFF?
Welcome to the New Zealand based not-for-profit flying film festival showcasing inspirational adventure flying films.
Brought to you in 2018 by our Gold sponsor the New Zealand Hang gliding and Paragliding Association.
Why is there a FoFFF?
We all share the dream of taking to the sky and flying like a bird. For some this becomes a reality and can be achieved
in many forms, not one greater than the other, rather each an expression of the Freedom of Flight.
The film festival started in 2017 and is run by the Freedom of Flight Charitable Trust. The Trust’s purpose is to
promote and support the adventure flying community whilst engaging with the general public and highlighting the world of
adventure flying.
The Film Festival provides a platform for this and welcomes you to experience the passion for flight across NZ with
friends, family, adventure flyers and anyone who wishes to soar like a bird! Enjoy filmmaker’s remarkable stories and
lifestyles. In doing so share the dream of flight, its difficulties, challenges, joy and freedom.
