The largest Italian Festival in New Zealand is back in Auckland and bigger than ever — bringing all the culture, music,
art and design that Italy can offer, plus all the fantastico food!
Italians and fans of Italy alike are already celebrating the Italian Festival Season in Auckland, which started on 30

The grand finale of the Italian Festival Season will be the annual Italian street festival in Newmarket — Festival
Italiano — on Sunday 28 October in Osborne St, Kent St, Rialto Centre, Lumsden Green and all around Newmarket.
Sir John Kirwan, President of the Dante Alighieri Italian Society of Auckland, the main player behind the Festival,
commented: “Festival Italiano is a fantastic day for Auckland and for all New Zealanders, and your chance to experience

On the day there will be a pop-up Italian bar and al fresco lunches with leading Italian restaurants, an Italian market
with over 40 stalls, plus live music and entertainment, art activities for children, delicious tastings, workshops and
exhibits, Italian cars and scooters, amazing Italian spot prizes and the chance to win a fantastic trip to Italy.
Auckland’s Dante Alighieri Society organises Festival Italiano in collaboration with the Newmarket Business Association,
