SIT MAINZ Auckland School Tour 2018

Southern Institute of Technology’s (SIT) Music & Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ), is proud to announce their 2018 Auckland School Tour, which kicks off next week. The tour showcases the latest batch of fresh talent set to break into the music industry.

The lunchtime concert series launches next Monday 27th August and runs throughout the week until Friday 31st August. Up to six acts will perform free, lunchtime concerts, playing RnB songs that are set to get students and staff grooving along.

Programme Manager Kingsley Melhuish says the Auckland School Tour is an opportunity for SIT MAINZ students to share their love of music with a young audience. Melhuish says that students have been particularly busy these past few weeks in the studio rehearsing. ‘There is a lot of excitement as the date draws closer as well as a healthy level of stress. It’s a great experience playing live in front of an audience and the schools we play to have been supportive and very enthusiastic.’
