MARK McGRATH and John Hurring secured their places at the Auckland Darts Masters, presented by TAB & Burger King, next month after winning through Tuesday's final qualifiers in Invercargill.
The pair will now line up against the likes of world number one Michael van Gerwen and World Champion Rob Cross at the Trusts Arena from August 3-5 in the 16-player PDC World Series of Darts event.
Ashhurst thrower McGrath, who played at the 2015 William Hill World Darts Championship, overcame former DPA Oceanic Masters winner Koha Kokiri and Craig Ross on his way to the final of Tuesday's knockout.
The 49-year-old, who was born in Leeds before emigrating to New Zealand, then recorded a 6-2 victory over Tony Carmichael to seal his place in a World Series event for the first time.
McGrath will be joined in Auckland by Hurring, who will make his big stage debut at next month's showpiece event.
The Christchurch man defeated Ben Robb 6-4 in the final qualifying event, having seen off experienced New Zealand stars Rob Szabo and Warren French in the previous two rounds.
The 16-player field for the Auckland Darts Masters is now complete and includes top-ranked New Zealander Cody Harris and reigning champion Kyle Anderson, from Australia.
Tickets for the Auckland Darts Masters - which will be held from August 3-5 at the Trusts Arena - are available through www.ticketek.co.cz.
