The Hits Welcomes New Local Host in Greymouth
27 February 2018 – The Hits announced today they are welcoming Troy Scott, a West Coast local, as the new Greymouth announcer. He will commence his role on 5 March.
Scott is already part of the NZME family, having worked in sales with the Christchurch team, and is a graduate of The New Zealand Broadcasting school. Born in Cobden, he is looking forward to returning to his home town.
“I can’t wait to get started on air in Greymouth,” says Scott. “I’m excited to pack my life into my station wagon and head home to start this new adventure. Greymouth is such an awesome community, it will be a real pleasure to spend the mornings with listeners during the week.”
Greg Cassidy, NZME GM Upper South Island is looking forward to hearing new talent on the airwaves. “Troy will be a great addition to our line-up of announcers and we know he’ll hit the ground running with this new opportunity. We’re stoked to have a local live in Greymouth.”
Catch Troy Scott on The Hits 90.7FM from 5 March.
