Gale Force Gospel will present its annual concert at St Andrew’s on The Terrace, 30 The Terrace, on Friday 7 July at 7.00pm. The choir which sings acapella (unaccompanied by instruments) will delight their audience with a musical programme of

within the larger choir.
Founded six years ago, the choir grew out of a workshop held by well-known New Zealand Gospel song leader Tony Backhouse

audition and regardless of previous experience, gender, religion or cultural background. An important part of the
burgeoning community singing scene in the Capital, Gale Force Gospel are led by composer and choral leader Carol Shortis.
In addition to their annual concert, Gale Force Gospel perform regularly around Wellington for a variety of audiences in the community. The choir sings primarily
