International Artists Named for 2017 Festival
A wonderful evening of fine music heralded the announcement of some of our international artists for the 2017 Adam Chamber Music Festival at Wednesday's sampler evening in Nelson.
We are thrilled to announce Hungarian pianist Dénes Várjon will be our overseas pianist supreme. You can read about him at his website here.
Our artistic directors Helene Pohl and Gillian Ansell also announced they have been in discussions with their old friends the Goldner Quartet of Australia (more here), wonderful English cellist Matthew Barley (more here) and, in an exciting move, New York based marimba player Ian Rosenbaum (more here). Many of us will be delighted to know our old friend, and clarinettist extraordinaire James Campbell from Canada will be joining us again (more here).
The only bad news is that we have to wait until February 2017 to hear them!
