The Mondiale Auckland Aces have made no changes
The Mondiale Auckland Aces have made no changes to their 12 as they head into a top of the table clash with Canterbury at the Eden Park Outer Oval tomorrow.
Auckland come up against a Canterbury side riding high after not having lost so far in the Ford Trophy. Canterbury also welcome back BLACKCAPS players Tom Latham and Henry Nicholls.
Michael Bates will again lead the side with Rob Nicol continuing his injury recovery. With heavy rain lashing Auckland in the build up to the match, conditions could see a reshuffle of the playing XI.
Mondiale Aces coach Mark O'Donnell isn't getting hung up about his side's rain hampered preparations.
“Obviously we like to get outside the day before a match but we are deep enough into the season now that the side know what they individually need to do to be ready for a match.”
"Canterbury come into the game in good form, they are a well prepared side and have a very strong batting line up. Our side are excited to step up to the challenge they present."
A team for tomorrow's game will be named from the following 12 players:
Michael Bates (Captain)
(Suburbs New Lynn)
Brad Cachopa (Takapuna)
