Mondiale Auckland Aces unchanged
The Mondiale Auckland Aces have named an unchanged line up to take on the Northern Knights in Hamilton tomorrow.
Auckland come into the match after an exciting first up win in the Ford Trophy against the Otago Volts in scorching Alexandra. The victory was led by an impressive batting display from Captain Colin Munro and youngster Glenn Phillips. Northern come into the match after surfering a first up loss to Wellington away from home.
Colin Munro will again lead the side in Hamilton with Rob Nicol still recovering from injury. Michael Bates was also not considered for selection due to injury. Mark Chapman could be in line to make his List A debut for the Mondiale Aces.
Mondiale Aces coach Mark O'Donnell believes the Knights will be a stern test for his side.
“We saw in our recent Plunket Shield match that they are a side that's hard to take ten wickets against and we know they will be eager to get a win on the board particularly at home.”
"Our boys are travelling well. They enjoyed the trip to Alexandra and are excited by the challenge ahead in Hamilton."
