About the song ‘We Are Ok’
“We Are Ok is potentially the most important composition in the last 400-500 years.” Professor John Psathas, Victoria University School of Music. Composer of the opening ceremony for the XXVIII Olympiad.
Described as “calm punk, and a pop-meditation for the 21st Century” by the band, it’s a peaceful rebellion against the complexity of the modern age. The song is a positive affirmation, the more people who chant ‘We Are Ok’ the more we are in fact, OK.
The idea and simple chant like chorus transcends languages and cultures. The intention therefore is that the song can be sung along with by anyone, anywhere in the world.
