Pandora Internet Radio Recruits An All-Star Cast to Celebrate NZ Music Month
(Auckland, May 6th) Some of New Zealand’s biggest stars from stage, screen and sport have come together to help Pandora Internet Radio celebrate NZ Music Month by curating a special NZ Music station on Pandora.
Shortland Street stars Beth Allen, Amelia Reid, Sally Martin and Cameron Jones have joined SKYCITY Breakers players and the cast of hit TV2 comedy Step Dave, among others, to pick their favorite Kiwi musical tracks to go onto the station. The result is a high energy
contemporary-sounding station with a healthy mix of kiwi classics.
“The station has a modern sound with a classic edge,” says Ron Nenni, Director of Music Programming at Pandora. “We are thrilled to celebrate new music discovery and the re-discovery of the artists who made their mark on New
Zealand’s music culture”
Pandora NZ Commercial Director, Melanie Reece, is thrilled with the sound of the station.
“Music discovery is a cornerstone of the Pandora philosophy and it’s a great privilege to have such high profile New
Zealanders share with us their picks to help create this station. We hope listeners from all walks of life enjoy our
celebration of Kiwi music.”
Listeners can find the station simply by downloading Pandora Internet Radio from either the App Store or via Google Play
