Ur Boi Bangs live in New Zealand
South-Sudanese rapper Ur Boi Bangs will perform two intimate shows in Auckland and Wellington on the 7th and 8th of May,
following strong demand from fans on social media.
Bangs found initial fame through hit 'Take U To Da Movies', which has reached over 9 million Youtube views. Bangs has
since played at Laneway Festival and the Big Day Out in Australia.
“This is Bangs' first visit and we're excited about sharing his unique hip hop with New Zealand”, said promoter Tyrone
Barugh.
“Bangs' songs discuss his experience as a Sudanese migrant in Australia, stories which have resounded with his New
Zealand fans.”
