THE ATTIC SINGLES CLUB 05: Strange Harvest
Every month The Attic will release a new exclusive single by one of our favourite local artists. The A-side comprises an
original recording of the band's output and to make things interesting, the B-side is a cover nominated by The Attic
residents.
The fifth instalment features darkwave outsider duo Strange Harvest spin their synth drenched astral tales within the walls of the Attic. The A-side 'Astronaut' puts Bianca Prujean's
hauntingly pensive vocals front and centre while Justin Walshaw paints streaks of guitar static over a casiotone beat.
With Walshaw taking on lead vocals, Strange Harvest delivers a introspective and alien rendition of Earl Sweatshirt's 'Chum' as the B-side.
Both tracks are recorded in The Attic (Dunedin,NZ) by Adrian Ng (Mavis Gary) and delivered to your ears for free. At the
end of the year the collection will be compiled into one physical release.
