Top Night For Topknot
RadioActive.fm, The Red Bird Discotheque and Mayhemsound Wellington are proud to bring you a benefit gig for the Topknot Whanau.
As you may know there was a devastating storage fire recently that saw a great loss of valuable possessions. So many people lost so many things and it's hard to comprehend exactly the scale of what has gone. We can only hope that the people affected can one day recover from such a sudden and tragic event.
From household goods to Oscar awards, record collections to vintage furniture, massive sound systems to family souvenirs, all has gone. We send our love and support to all those affected and wish you nothing but happiness in the future.
In response the friends and colleagues of Brendan "Topknot" are raising some cash to help ease the difficult time ahead. He lost records, sound systems, musical instruments, heirlooms and beyond that his family is facing struggles too great to mention here.
We invite you to join us in a massive musical genre bending evening of love and good vibes at Meow Edward St. It's koha entry so give what you can and for those not familiar with Te Reo Maori , Koha means Fifty Bucks!!!!! nah in all seriousness $5 would be great $10 would be better $20 would be O for awesome!!
