A Right Royal Day at Wither Hills
The team at Wither Hills were proud to host the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for a private lunch earlier today, at the Wither Hills winery in Marlborough.
Following weeks of top-secret planning, the team at Wither Hills and its restaurant partners Dave & Sarah Anderson put on a lunch comprising Marlborough’s finest fresh produce for the royal couple and their private assistants today at 12.30pm in the upstairs board room, with stunning views over the vineyards and winery, and out to the Wither Hills themselves.
Comments Guy Hernandez, Business Manager for Wither Hills, “Myself, Sarah, Dave and the team at Wither Hills are absolutely honoured that the royal couple chose to include a visit to our restaurant at Wither Hills in their incredibly busy schedule in New Zealand. It was a pleasure to host them. We are all mighty proud that it has been a right royal day at Wither Hills!”
Wither Hills winery is named after the imposing Wither Hills ranges, which form a dramatic backdrop to its vineyards, and which enjoy long sunlight hours, cool nights and are nourished by the waters of the Wairau River, Marlborough.
