The Great Outdoors Summer Events photo competition – you be the judge
Now is the time to have your say on some of the best photos taken this summer. Five finalists have been found in the
Greater Wellington Regional Council Great Outdoors Summer Events photo competition, and it’s up to you to choose the
overall winner.
With more than 150 entries from more than 40 photographers, the council’s judges scratched their heads, debated long and
hard and said goodbye to some great pics to reach a short list of five outstanding entries.
They’ve seen shots of sunsets and shags and glow worms and gullies, and just about everything in between that show the
fun to be had in our fantastic regional parks.
It is hoped that, through these images, more people will be attracted to visit Wellington’s wild and wonderful places.
