Myele Manzanza adds Stockholm, Budapest, Berlin & Munich dates to tour
& announces forthcoming release on Theo Parrish's Wildheart Recordings
After a stunning premier performance in Los Angeles which the LA Weekly selected as one of its 'Concerts of the Week' and a successful run of debut shows in the U.S. Myele Manzanza jumps over the Atlantic this week for a handful of shows in Europe with his trio before heading home to New Zealand.
Myele is also excited to announce his Trio's forthcoming vinyl release on Detroit's legendary dance producer, Theo Parrish's new London based label 'Wildheart Recordings'. The sister label to Parrish's 'Signature Sounds' label which is “focused on releasing music for the body”, Wildheart Recordings was established to "release music for the independent mind”. The labels first release in 2013 was a project between Parrish and one of Myele's heroes, drummer Tony Allen. Two tracks recorded from the Trio's first international show in Sydney last year will be released on Wildheart Recordings late 2014.
