All Blacks Coaching Secrets Revealed in 80s style Montage
What does it take to be an All Black? It’s the question hundreds of Kiwi kids ponder as they watch their favourite team play, and with a little help from the Duracell Bunny, one lucky youngster saw first-hand the power and endurance training our national team undergoes to stay the world’s number one!
Auckland 6-year-old Chris hit the gym with All Blacks, Ben Smith, TJ Perenara and Brodie Retallick, their efforts recorded in a tongue-in-cheek training montage that Rocky would be proud of!
The video clip encourages Kiwis everywhere to trust their power, as the All Blacks and the Duracell Bunny demonstrate the energy needed to charge the team in an entertaining and light-hearted way.
With both brands representing power and endurance, there is a natural synergy between the world’s number one battery brand Duracell and the All Blacks.
Duracell, which launched the CopperTop in 1967, has enjoyed successes which include powering the first mission to the moon in 1969 and partnering with the NFL.
More recently the brand launched its sponsorship of the All Blacks with a television commercial featuring the All Blacks.
The new commercial highlights why Duracell is the battery brand trusted everywhere, giving people the power within to do more, both in life’s extraordinary and ordinary moments.
New Zealand Rugby Chief Executive, Steve Tew, says the All Blacks are pleased to have the continuing support of Duracell.
“Duracell’s attributes of power and endurance are aligned with those of the All Blacks and it is great to see this partnership being brought to life for New Zealanders.
Brand manager for Duracell, Suraen De Silva, says the video was created to highlight Duracell’s equity of ‘Trusted Everywhere’ and to showcase the All Blacks as icons at employing strength and endurance to power through whatever challenges meet them, even a training session with a hard taskmaster like the Duracell bunny,” he says.
