JAC'S Trading Co. Sings a Song for Vivian and Sophie Waller
JAC’s Trading Co. at The Plaza, Whangaparaoa recently held a karaoke night raising funds for Vivian and Sophie Waller.
The karaoke night was a great success, raising $600 from locals singing their hearts out for a great cause.
Those wanting to belt out their favourite song were asked for a gold coin donation, and JAC’s Trading Co. donated $1 from every pint of beer and large glass of wine sold on the night.
Jez Cameron, Director of JAC’s Trading Co. says that all the locals have rallied behind this special family and he was pleased that they could too. “It’s heartbreaking to hear what this young family is going through, and it’s important in a community like Whangaparaoa that we all support each other through tough times”.
The money raised is going directly to the family. Vivian has created a bucket list of things she would like her little girl to achieve in life and all proceeds raised through events in the community and their online Givealittle fundraising page will be used by Sophie and her family to fulfill her mother’s wishes.
