Student Radio Play has more likes than United Future
The small and somewhat listener shy radio play Your Dog's Been Spayed has discovered that it is more popular with the "Facebook generation" than the one man political party United Future.
The radio show which has been broadcast on the Wellington based VBC, and Human FM, has 74 likes on Facebook, 12 more than United Future.
The producer, writer, director, editor and promoter of Your Dog's Been Spayed, James Barber, said "I guess this just demonstrates that there's still a digital divide in Aotearoa New Zealand. Obviously we have more listeners than United Future has members but for this to transfer into actual likes on Facebook really surprised me. I doubt we have more listeners than United Future has supporters, we're not that popular".
However, James also mentioned that Your Dog's Been Spayed is probably more attractive to his friends, who use the internet, than United Future is. He also expressed that "to be honest most of our surprise comes from the fact that United Future has a Facebook page".
Oddly enough Peter Dunne is one of the few political figures to not appear in the show, which tends to go on wild and unexpected tangents. Most recently Grant Robertson's Rainbow-Labour Social-Democrat Dictatorship appointed Gareth Morgan as Minister for the Environment. Minister Morgan has sinister plans for a race of mole-people which will not be revealed in this Press Release.
The radio play can now be listened to online at www.yourdogsbeenspayed.com
